Is your service as good as your tea making?

Anyone for tea?

What do security and facilities services have in common with tea? Did you know that the British public drinks 165 million cups of tea a day or 60.2 billion a year? That is a vast amount of tea… it also comes with a massive amount of variation. With milk, without milk, strong, weak, hot, iced, sugar, no sugar or how many sugars before we've even got into brands and types of tea! The list of possible variations is enormous, and everyone has a preference.

Now you may be asking why am I reading about tea on a security and facilities services company website?

Tea Service

The answer is this. Whenever someone makes you tea, they ask you what you would like and how you would like it prepared. At NGS we have adopted this same model for our service proposals. We always ask you what you would like and then give you the service you want to be delivered. But like any good tea maker, we learn from our experiences and can recommend different components as we learn about you, our client. We know you like sweet tea, maybe try honey instead of sugar, if I stretch our metaphor still further.

How do we learn about you?

  • The first step is always an initial meeting to discuss your requirements.

  • Using qualitative and quantitative data collection, we can then put together a proposal for you.

  • Once we begin the process of mobilisation to deliver services to you, we meet again to put together the process and lay down operating procedures.

  • As soon as the service has been running for three months, we will seek a review meeting. Reviewing what parts of the service are working well and what parts, if any, you want to change.

Continui-Tea

This continuous communication allows us to give you the service you need for your organisation. Or to put it another way, when you come round for a cup of tea with us you know it will be made just how you like it, every time.
